Dear Families,
In writing workshop we learned to use the
word “you” when we are writing How to Books! (Avery) Students realized that
using “I” doesn’t help readers connect to our stories.
Today we
had a good time in lunch. (Asher)
We had
inside recess and watched the Magic Schoolbus about gravity. (Stella)
In math we
got to make our own version of the story The Sleepover. (Trevor) Students are
taking their books home today to show you what we have been learning using
arithmetic racks and the story The Sleepover.
They are
setting up tables in the commons for Cocoa Night already! (Xan) I hope to see
you anytime between 5:30-7:00 tonight!
