Dear Families,
In fundations we practiced different ways
that we can spell tricky words and writing complete sentences. (Kate)
We got to hang up some signs at the end of
writing workshop! (Xan) Today we had a mini celebration and published our first
opinion writing! Some students gave their pieces to friends or teachers, others
hung them around the school!
In math we talked about 17, 18, and 19!

In Art we finished our butterfly art

We talked about stars! (Derek) When we draw
stars they have points, but they really are just a ball of gas! (Sam) Stars are
far away in outer space, that is why they look so tiny! (Michah) A group of
stars that seem to make a shape is called a constellation! (Stella)
