Since today has been a busy day (conference week
normally is J)
I am writing this email.

We have had a busy day of learning today! We
will talk about the letters l,h, and k this week. Please ask your child about
these letters!

In writing workshop students worked on their
stories with their reading partners.

In math we talked about making numbers 2 more.
·
This week we will talk about stories written by
Mo Willems. Today we read the story The Pigeon Wants a Puppy and the kids loved
it!

Tomorrow
the weather is supposed to be cold. We got outside if the temperature is
above 20 degrees. So, please be sure your child has appropriate coats,
hats and gloves/mittens. Remember we have the early lunch and recess
block so we go outside often when the weather is still pretty chilly.
