In writing workshop, we got to
work with our reading partners! (Sarah Jane)
In Fundations, we got the
letters l,h, and k and used them on our magnetic boards! (Trevor)
At recess we had fun! (Dayton)
We talked about 2 fewer in

We just went to art and we made
a snake! (Stella)
*I forgot to mention yesterday that
the Book Fair is going on all this week in conjunction with conferences.
I took the kids by the book fair so they know about it and where it is but you
must be with them in order to purchase books (in other words you can’t send
money to school so that your kids can buy books). Part of the money from
the book fair goes to PTA. In addition, you may purchase books to donate
to our classroom. Rather than filling out a wish list, I like for the
kids to choose a book to donate to our classroom. Obviously, book
donations are optional.
